De voorzitter van de KLuHV Theo ten Haaf schreef deze week op zijn Facebook pagina: ‘Onze vluchten zijn alleen mogelijk dankzij goed teamwork. Zowel van de ondersteunende diensten als van de samenwerking tussen vliegers en de technische dienst (TD). Gisteren zelf een trainingsvlucht met onze Spitfire gevlogen. Daarna heeft Ralph ‘Sheik’ Aarts nog een herdenkingsvlucht uitgevoerd boven Haelen bij Roermond. TD’ers Ton en Henk ondersteunden ons. De kist was top voorbereid en vloog weer als een zonnetje. Mannen bedankt!’

De heer Schröder, Nederland’s laatste luchtvaartpionier, was jarenlang lid van onze Raad van Advies en altijd zeer nauw betrokken bij het wel en wee van onze stichting. We are saddened to learn of the passing of Mr. Martin Schröder. The Netherlands' last aviation pioneer is no more. Mr. Schröder was a long-time member of our Advisory Board and was always closely involved in the well-being of our foundation. We extend our condolences to his family and wish them strength during this time of loss. Blue skies and tailwinds, Martin!
